Adults riding must step on the pony/chariot scale which will determine whether they can ride a pony or a chariot bench. The scale shows no numbers only a pony or chariot.

All maintenance and operation costs are paid by the Foundation through ridership, adoptions, sponsorships, grants, tile etchings and donations. The carousel is managed by a volunteer board. Seasonal operation is run with a few paid staff and a group of committed volunteers.
